J. R. Richards: "A Beautiful End"

Hello everyone !

So today I thought I'd pick a sad but very touching song that might make you cry. This song is A Beautiful End by J. R. Richards.

J. R. Richards (AKA John Robert Richards) music career didn't start off as a solo artist. In 1994, he was in a band called Dishwalla as the lead singer. They were popular all the way up to 2006 when John decided to go solo.

A Beautiful End became a huge hit in 2009 and personally is one of my top ten favorite songs. Check it out.

John lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Shannon, and their only child. I hope you enjoy him!

Imogen Heap: "Hide and Seek"

Hola!

So todays special music pick is by a wonderful artist, Imogen Heap. She has a very unique style of music that I, myself, am very found of.

She is from Havering, London, England and, not like most artists, does 8 different styles of music. Electronic, alternative, indie, synthpop, ambient, trip hop, rock, and classical

The song I picked is my favorite, Hide and Seek.

A lot of you may already know this song without even knowing it. Jason Derulo's "Whatcha Say" that was released in 2009 has samples of this very song in it. Check it out.

Well thanks again for checking out my blog, come visit again and tell your friends !

311: "Daisy Cutter"

Hello !

So I'm leaving tomorrow for a vacation trip and thought I'd leave you all with a classic summer jammin' band! That band would most definately be 311!

311 began in 1988 and has 5 members, Nick Hexum (vocals, rhythm guitar, programming), Doug "SA" Martinez (vocals, turntables, DJ), Tim Mahoney (lead guitar), Aaron "P-Nut" Wills (bass), and finally Chad Sexton (drums, percussion, programming). They had a former guitarist named Jim "Jimi" Watson but left the group in 1991.

They have made 10 albums and their latest album is called "Universal Pulse" but the song I wanted to share with you came from the album before this one, "Uplifter" called "Daisy Cutter" again, one of my favorites.

311 is perfect to listen to alongside the beach while partying with friends. Please check them out and Im planning to post another song next week. Enjoy !

Chase Coy: "Eight-Dollar Engagement Rings"

Hurray ! Its Summer !

And the first song to make Sobe Jane's JamRecs is a soothing song by none other than Chase Coy. He is one of my personal favorites. You can't help but fall in love with his music the minute you listen to him.

This special song right here is called "Eight-Dollar Engagement Rings", one of my favorites.

A little background about Chase Coy is that he grew up in Greenwood, Indiana and is 17-years-old. He has devoted his life to music and works hard to achieve the best for himself.

His latest album is called Indiana Sun and these are his words about the album:
"These songs are my thoughts and feelings; my memories and my rescue when I need it most. This is the music that helps me make sense of the world when nothing else can, and I only hope that it can do the same for you."

Well I hope you enjoy Chase Coy and I certainly will be putting more stuff up about him, he's a very talented artist. Well, enjoy !
